The first applications of contact thermography date back to the 1970’s in the medical field ( mass screening of breast pathologies, other applications in fields such as rheumatology, angilogy, sports medicine and many others.) More recently the use of such a method has been extended to the field of aesthetics, for the early detection and classification of cellulite and abdominal fat adiposity.
